Toddlers

TODDLERS

CHILDREN FROM 12 MONTHS TO 29 MONTHS

This is a perfect age for exploring! In the Toddler Room, our first priority is to provide a nurturing and safe environment. We recognize that each child is an individual and we strive to accommodate his or her own personal needs and differences.

Some skills needed to participate in the Toddler Room:

School lunch/"big people" food, use a sippy cup (no bottle), 1 nap/day (naptime pacifier only), walking in outside shoes.

ASSESMENT

AS YOUR CHILD TURNS 2.5

The Team gives much thought to each child's readiness to "graduate" from one class to the next. We would like to expand the "window of time" during which children move up and focus more on issues of readiness than on chronology. This applies to the transition between Toddler and Preschool.

  • Language Development
  • Physical Coordination
  • Emotional Security
  • Ability To Follow Directions
  • Social Development

YOU WORK HARD. HAVE PEACE OF MIND THAT YOUR CHILD IS BEING WELL LOOKED AFTER IN A SAFE, SECURE ENVIRONMENT.
